Lefkara village
On our way to Nicosia we will stop in Lefkara village, where we will visit the Traditional House of Lefkaritika Lace and silver handicrafts. Here you will learn about the history and evolution of the best-known Cypriot embroidery and see some extraordinary pieces of art.
Nicosia Old Town
Arriving in Nicosia, we will pass by the Venetian Walls, Famagusta Gate to the Old City within the walls and the Archbishop Palace. After a short walk to Ledra Street you will have some free time with options to visit Leventis Municipal Museum, where you may see objects from the history of the city and island, Shacolas Tower with 360 degrees view of the city and the occupied side, as well as the many shops and local cafes.
Across the UN Buffer Zone (optional)
If you like, you may also visit the Turkish Occupied Area of Cyprus, separated by the UN Buffer Zone.
Larnaca
Next stop will be in Larnaca, where you will have free time to visit the following sights: the magnificent Agios Lazaros Church and Tomb, with some of the finest examples of Byzantine architecture; the Old Town with its traditional stalls and shops; the famous palm tree lined Finikoudes Promenade, where if you wish you can also swim, visit cafes and restaurants.
