We will start our adventure with a visit to the spectacular viewpoint of Kouris Dam, where you can admire the impressive reservoir and the fascinating sight of the sunken church of St. Nicholas, immersed in its waters.
Thereafter, we head to the picturesque village of Lofou, where you can enjoy a walk through its charming cobbled streets, admire the traditional stone-built houses and experience the relaxed atmosphere of a typical Cypriot village. A perfect opportunity to enjoy a Cyprus coffee at one of the local coffee shops!
Continuing our journey through the beautiful countryside, we will make a stop at a scenic vineyards viewpoint, offering lovely views across the rolling hills and traditional wine-producing landscape of Cyprus.
Our adventure continues to the beautiful Tzelefos Bridge, one of the most impressive medieval stone bridges on the island, hidden amongst the lush greenery of the Paphos Forest. Take some time to admire this remarkable historic landmark and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Get ready for some excitement as we continue with a thrilling off-road drive through the forest, exploring the rugged mountain tracks and enjoying the natural beauty of the Troodos countryside.
In the village of Pedoulas, you will have the unique opportunity to visit one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites – the Church of Archangel Michael, built in 1474 and famous for its stunning Byzantine frescoes.
For lunch, we will stop at a traditional mountain restaurant, where you can enjoy local Cypriot cuisine and take a relaxing break surrounded by the mountain scenery.
We will then continue our journey towards Mount Olympus, the highest peak in Cyprus, where a stop at the viewpoint offers splendid panoramic views across the island. A wonderful opportunity for photographs!
Our next stop takes us to the beautiful Chantara Waterfall, tucked away in the green forest. Enjoy the fresh mountain air, explore the natural surroundings and experience another of the hidden treasures of the Troodos Mountains.
We will complete our adventure with a relaxing wine tasting experience at a local winery, located in one of the famous wine-producing areas of Cyprus. Discover some of the island’s local wines and enjoy a taste of Cypriot tradition before heading back.
