We will start our safari with a visit to the view point of Kouris Dam with the sunken church of Alassa.
Thereafter a stop at the picturesque Village of Laneia; walk through the beautiful flower lined streets and stone houses. We will see the Old Wine press of the village, as well as the Olive Mill.
Heading up the Troodos mountains, to one of the largest waterfalls on the island – Millomeri Waterfalls.
At the mountain village of Agios Nicholaos for a coffee/refreshment stop and thereafter, visit the ancient Kelefos Bridge, hidden deep within the forest, a beautiful natural environment lovely for photos.
Afterwards, we will drive off-road near the Milikouri river, towards Kykkos Monastery, dedicated to the Virgin Mary. This is the wealthiest and most lavish monastery in Cyprus, which holds one of the three icons painted by Apostle Luke the Evangelist.
For lunch we will stop in a traditional mountain restaurant.
Afterwards a visit to the highest peak on the island – Mount Olympus.
Finally, a chance to see one of our most famous traditional villages Omodos, where you can see Timios Stavros Church of the Holy Cross, and you will have time to explore this interesting village and the local souvenir shops.
