Our first stop will be at the ancient city of Kourion Archaeological Site with its famous, magnificent Greko-Roman Theatre and buildings of the late roman period with beautiful mosaics.
Next we will visit Aphrodite’s Birthplace (Petra tou Romiou). During the summer season (May – October) you will have time to enjoy a swim here, so bring you swimming gear and towels.
Arriving at the ancient capital of Cyprus – Pafos, we will see the Pillar of St. Paul, where he has been bound and lashed as a punishment for preaching Christianity. At the Old Port area, you will have free time to see the Castle, discover the nearby Archeological Park of Kato Pafos (included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list in 1980) and visit the famous mosaics. You may visit the local souvenir shops and have lunch at one of the many attractive cafes or restaurants.
On our return to Limassol we will visit Geroskipou Village to taste the famous Cyprus delights – Loukoumia.
